Our Executive Committee is composed of 9 members. It embodies the values of our group and provides decision-making functions on the operational management of the group's clinics, coordinates project management and contributes to the development and implementation of the overall strategy.
Dr Patrick MAIRE
Founding President and Medical Director
A medical graduate of the University of Lausanne, Dr. Maire became the youngest doctor in Switzerland in 1983, then obtained his doctorate in medicine in 1994 and the following year the title of FMH specialist in orthopedic surgery and traumatology. His postgraduate training allowed him to practice in many hospitals in the region and in 1995 he opened his trauma and orthopaedic center in Clarens.
With 12 years of surgical experience in the public and private sectors, he offers a pioneering concept through clinics accessible to all patients regardless of their insurance coverage. In 2007, he founded the Clinique CIC Montreux and in 2014 the Clinique CIC Saxon, both of which are currently recognized as being of public interest.
It is as founding president and medical director of the holding Clinique CIC Suisse, a company grouping together the CIC clinics, that Dr. Patrick Maire continues to deploy his visionary and entrepreneurial side.
General director - CEO
Alain Flückiger worked for several years at Serono and Suisse Assurances. He was a member of the Executive Committee of Vaudoise Assurances for 10 years, then CFO and Vice-CEO Head of the "Finance and Service" department of Intras Assurances SA for 5 years, following the takeover of Intras by CSS, and became a member of the Group's General Management for 8 years.
His extensive experience in the specific fields of insurance and health care enabled him to become a member of the boards of directors of many important companies in Switzerland, such as Médidata SA, SSS SA, Sasis SA, SVK SA, Tarifsuisse SA and a member of the strategic committee of Forum Managed Care. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Medidata SA and Hotela Assurances SA as well as a member of the Conseil du Foyer and Bénévolat Vaud.
He joins our group as CEO in 2017.
Deputy General Manager & Director of Digital Strategies and Innovation - CDO
After a degree in theology and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Lausanne, Thierry Maire became involved in computer science and education. He designed the Photocat shareware, and participated in the management of the Ecole Normale de Lausanne and the Haute Ecole Pédagogique. With this experience, he took over the direction of the GYB for more than 16 years, where he managed the pedagogical, strategic and administrative direction of 130 employees and 1200 students. Under his leadership, the GYB received a label from the Swiss Academy of Sciences in 2018 for its pioneering role in the digitalization of educational processes and the integration of IT.
He joined our group in 2020 as director of digital strategies and innovation, to bring his business skills, in a department essential in building the development strategy of Clinique CIC Suisse. He is now Deputy Managing Director of the group.
Human Resources Director - CHRO
Nicole Favez has a commercial and accounting background and worked for the Multifiduciaire SA group for 5 years, while obtaining her federal diploma in accounting. She has been working with Dr. Maire for more than 20 years, starting in the finance department and becoming the assistant to the CFO in 2011.
After several years as an employee in the group's human resources department, she strengthened her knowledge by completing the federal certificate for human resources specialists.
In 2016, she took over the management of this department as Director of Human Resources.
Director of Finance, Billing and Insurance - CFO
Christophe Graziani started out at L'Oréal where he held the positions of Chief Accountant and then Head of Management Control for 7 years. At that time, newly listed on the stock exchange, he joined the Genolier Swiss Medical Network group and took up the challenge of setting up the financial tools necessary for its management and development, first as head of management control and then as financial director. After 7 years, he became independent and took on mandates mainly related to data (Business intelligence) in the health sector.
It is in this context and to meet his desire for challenge, that he joined our group in 2019.
Director of care
After 4 years of studies in the Netherlands, Brian Oosterhoff obtained his diploma as a general care nurse in 1982, then 2 years later, his diploma as a nurse anesthetist. His Swiss Red Cross recognition, acquired in 1988, has opened the doors of many hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland for over 30 years.
His 11 years of additional training in management with a federal diploma in hospital management, combined with his experience working at the heart of operational teams, led him to the position of director of the organization of care and blocks of our group's clinics.
After having taken up the challenge of creating and then operating the DaisY Ambulatory Surgery Center of the North Vaud hospitals, Brian is now positioning himself as a key element for the future development projects of the group. He will join the management committee in February 2021.
Operational Director - COO
Arnaud Lemercier graduated as a nurse in 1996. He started his career in the operating room and then turned to the pharmaceutical industry. He worked as a nurse consultant and sales engineer at Baxter International. In 2004, he joined Medacta International SA, a Swiss company specialized in orthopedic implants. Thanks to his skills in sales, management and training, he joined the Swiss subsidiary where he worked for 15 years as Sales Ortopaedics, Deputy Director and Area Sales Manager.
His background and experience within these different companies in the medical sector have led him to take responsibility for the planning and organization of our group's hospitals.
Director of Purchasing - CSCO
After training as an office automation and computer management technician, supplemented by training as a buyer in Paris, Eric Planavergne then became interested in the medical field by completing his training with a nursing assistant diploma and various specializations that enabled him to work in the operating room for 15 years. The synergy of these two fields of training naturally led him to the purchasing department in the health sector before starting a commercial career in 2005.
He joined the Swiss subsidiary of Medacta International SA as Sales Representative Orthopedics in 2012. His skills and his interest in sales have made him a successful career in this company specialized in orthopedic implants, where he climbed the ladder during 8 years.
In the summer of 2020, he will leave his position as Area Sales Manager to join us as Purchasing Director and bring his specific knowledge to our group.
Director of Communication and Patient Management - CMO
With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Management from Saint Leo University in Florida since 2016, Elise Raynal joined our team as a marketing and communication manager. She then continued to develop her skills at Baruch College in New York and at CREA-INSEEC in Lausanne, which led to her Master's degree in digital marketing & communication in 2020, with a specialization in data driven strategy.
Her expertise and operational knowledge of the clinics during the last years, earned her a place in the group's management committee as Director of Communication and Patient Management.
