Eye surgery or ophthalmic surgery is a very broad surgical specialty which includes any form of intervention on the eye. Within CIC Clinics, accredited ophthalmosurgeons mainly perform interventions for the treatment of cataracts resulting in opacity of the lens as well as treatment of macular degeneration by intra-vitreous injection.
